Can I use Hesta Health if I’m still pregnant? (copy)
Hesta Health is a postnatal service, so our offering begins after birth. However, you’re very welcome to sign up when you’re pregnant and set up your Hesta account so you’re ready to start once your baby has arrived.
Who is eligible to use Hesta Health?
Hesta Health is designed for women in the postnatal period, typically up to two years after giving birth.
The Hesta Health Check is designed for women and birthing parents who have given birth within the last 2 years. You can read more about it here.
AskHesta is available with the Hesta Health Check for women and birthing parents for 12 weeks from when they give birth. You can read more about it here.
Can I use Hesta Health if I had my baby more than two years ago?
Not yet. Our services are currently tailored for women and birthing parents who gave birth within the last two years. However we are working on developing other services, including specialist care services to support health issues related to past births. Please sign up here to be informed when we launch services that are right for you.
What if I still have recovery issues but my birth was more than two years ago?
We know that many women and birthing parents still experience postnatal symptoms years after birth, such as fatigue, pelvic floor weakness, or hormonal changes.
Right now, Hesta is clinically designed for those within two years of birth. However, we’re actively working on developing tailored assessment and treatment options to support people at all stages of the postnatal journey.
You’re very welcome to join our mailing list to be the first to access this when it’s ready. And if you’d like to help us shape the care we offer for those beyond two years postnatal, we’d love for you to take part in user research - please sign up here.
Can partners or family members use Hesta Health?
Hesta Health’s clinical care focuses on mothers and birthing people. We continue to evolve our service provision, so please join our mailing list to stay up to date on our latest products and services.
Do I need to live in the UK?
Yes. Hesta Health currently serves London-based residents only.
Join the mailing list and tell us if you’d like Hesta Health to be available in your area in the future.
What if I have a complex medical history?
You can still use Hesta Health. Our clinicians will review your information to ensure your plan is safe. If something falls outside our remit, we’ll signpost you to the right NHS or private specialist.
Can I use Hesta Health if I experienced pregnancy loss or stillbirth?
Yes. Hesta Health provides compassionate care for physical and emotional recovery after all pregnancy outcomes. You can share as much or as little as you wish, and we’ll tailor your care accordingly.
