Imagine a world where women’s health is a force for wellbeing, prosperity and growth.
Our co-founders

Sujitha and Amanda come from very different worlds.
Sujitha is an Obstetrics and Gynaecology doctor who, alongside her clinical work, has spent over a decade exploring how to improve health at scale. Her journey has taken her into global public health, academia at Oxford and UCL, and international policy and advocacy.
Sujitha's been recognised internationally for her work as the first British Women Deliver Young Leader.
Amanda has spent the past 20 years leading and scaling complex businesses – most recently as Managing Director at Airbnb across the UK, Northern Europe and MEA, and before that at Babylon Health, Deluxe Entertainment, EMI and McKinsey & Company.
When they came together, we realised they shared a vision: to change women's health at scale. To close a health gap that sees half the world's population spend 25% more time in ill-health than the other half. To tackle the economic and social toll of this gap – and to turn health into a driver of wellbeing, prosperity, and equity for all. With that, Hesta Health was born.
Our aim is to create a new benchmark in women's health, delivering exceptional care at every lifestage.
Our first mission is to reimagine care for new mothers, delivering comprehensive, clinical, compassionate care that helps women and birthing parents recover from birth, physically and emotionally, whilst building a foundation for lifelong health.
We believe postnatal care should be designed around women's real needs, not scattered across disjointed systems they're expected to navigate alone. And we believe that the two years after childbirth represent a critical window to intervene not just to support immediate recovery from birth, but to deliver better lifelong health outcomes.
The work begins now.
Our clinical approach
Product and service development
Every aspect of the Hesta experience is clinically-led, and developed with a multidisciplinary panel of clinical advisors and experts.
Hesta is committed to reducing health inequalities. Our aim is for every woman to benefit from our service, and we are ensuring representation of diverse populations in all aspects of service provision from co-design through to access.

Our approach to clinical safety and regulation
Hesta Health is regulated by the Care Quality Commission.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and adult social care services in England. Its purpose is to work together with the public, systems and providers of care to protect people, and to promote and improve the quality of care. If a service needs to improve, CQC will take action to make sure this happens. Find out more on the CQC website.
Hesta also partners with organisations who are CQC registered to perform blood taking (venepuncture).
Clinical safety is at the core of Hesta Health’s mission. Every clinician in our network undergoes a rigorous selection process to ensure they meet the highest standards of care.
